Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of the ONE BEAT website (“ONE BEAT,” “we,” or “us”) handles information collected through this website. ONE BEAT is a community movement focused on stronger households, individual empowerment, and our children’s future.
This policy covers our website forms and our use of their submissions. Hosting and sign-in providers also handle information under their own policies, as described below.
Information we collect
- Community interest submissions: your name, email address, selected interests, contact permission, and the dates your entry was created or updated.
- Agreement records: the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy versions shown when you submit the interest form, and the date and time you confirmed your agreement.
- Contact and privacy requests: your email address, request type, message if provided, submission time, and information needed to respond to or verify the request.
Providing information is voluntary. Required fields are identified on each form; we need those details to process that form. Please share only what is needed for your request.
Our hosting, authentication, and security providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request times, security logs, and sign-in details to deliver and protect the site. The site may require a hosting-provider account or sign-in depending on its access settings.
How we use information
We use submitted information to maintain the interest list, understand the community’s areas of interest, contact people about getting involved, answer questions, and handle privacy requests. Agreement records help document the permissions and terms associated with an entry.
We may also use information as needed to maintain the website, prevent misuse, protect people’s rights and safety, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not post form submissions publicly on this website.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell the information you submit or share it for targeted advertising. Access is limited to the website operator, people authorized to assist with the stated purposes, and service providers needed to operate the website and handle submissions.
We use service providers for website hosting, sign-in, delivery, and data storage. These providers may process platform, authentication, and technical information under their own privacy policies. Cloudflare provides delivery and data-storage infrastructure; its practices are described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Providers may process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States.
We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or a serious safety concern, to protect legal rights, or with your permission. If a future organizational transition would change who controls your information or how it is used, we will provide notice and seek consent where required by law.
Cookies and tracking
ONE BEAT does not currently add advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers to this website. Hosting, sign-in, and security services may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for their services, and may collect technical or usage information under their own policies.
Our website does not currently change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not use interest-list or contact submissions to track your activity across other websites. See the provider policies above for their handling of browser settings and privacy signals.
You can manage cookies through your browser or relevant provider settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in or access.
Retention and security
We keep interest-list information while it is needed to manage your interest and communicate with you. We remove it when it is no longer needed or following a verified deletion request, except for limited information that must be retained for a legal obligation or to document and honor your request.
Contact requests and agreement records are kept only as needed to handle requests, document their resolution, and meet applicable obligations. Hosting providers may maintain their own logs or backups under their retention practices.
We use the site’s access controls and hosting protections to limit unauthorized access. No online service can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the information you submitted.
- Correct or update your information.
- Delete your interest entry or other submitted information.
- Stop contacting you about ONE BEAT.
Use the Contact ONE BEAT form and choose the relevant request type. Use the email associated with your submission where possible. We may need to verify that you control that email before providing information or acting on a request.
You can also update an interest entry by submitting the interest form again with the same email. We will handle privacy requests in accordance with applicable law. Depending on where you live, additional rights or limits may apply; this policy does not reduce those rights.
Children’s information
The community interest list is for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through it. Our mission supports children, but the interest form is for adult participation.
If you believe a child’s information has been submitted, use the contact form to request removal. Describe the concern without including more of the child’s personal information. A privacy request does not require joining the interest list.
Policy updates
We will post updates here with a revised effective date. For a material change in how existing submissions are handled, we will provide additional notice through the website or the email on file, and obtain consent where required. New features or data collection will be reflected in this policy before they are introduced.
Contact about privacy
Send a privacy question or request through the Contact ONE BEAT form. The form saves your request for ONE BEAT to review; it does not display your message publicly.
